I thought you all could benefit from a few tips when using Cashcrate, so here's a couple:

It can be tedious entering your name, address, and phone number over and over when filling out the forms required by each company, so I use a program called Roboform - once you set it up, all it takes is one click to fill out a form. You can get it here.

When completing offers on Cashcrate, it's a good idea to clear your cookies often - some of the offers are from the same company, and if it sees its cookie already on your computer, any of its other offers probably won't go through. I use a free program called CCleaner, which you can get here.

In CCleaner's options, you can uncheck everything except cookies, as it's just the cookies that need to be cleaned out. I like to keep the program open, and clean out the cookies after each offer I complete and submit.

How Exactly to Complete an Offer

1. Open the offer. Enter an e-mail address.

2. Fill out the form with valid information. I use my cell phone number rather than my home number, as I have a pay as you go phone which is turned off 95% of the time.

3. Ignore any pop-ups. Quite often a window pops up at the beginning of the process, with the "final steps, silver offers" thing - minimize it or close it - it's a decoy I guess. It has no address bar at the top of the window, so that will clue you in that you're not at the end yet.

4. Go through the ENTIRE "survey" of yes/no offers. You usually have to say "yes" to at least one, but there will be a "skip/pass/no thanks" option on the page it takes you to. If you use Roboform, all you need to do is hit the "alt" key, and the +/= key to automatically choose "no" to all the offers, then you just have to change one to a "yes".

5. The last page will say "Last Steps", "Final Steps", or "Silver Offers". Click on two of the offers, and let them finish loading. You don't have to fill them out. For good measure, click on a third offer, or go to the gold offer page and click on a few.

6. Go back to CashCrate, submit the offer, and you're done!

7. Clear your cookies and find another offer to complete.

8. It's important to let all the pages load completely - don't move on to the next page until the page you're currently on is done loading.
